Grand Cayman - A Grand Caribbean Experience
Whether you travel by ship or by plane to the Cayman’s, you arrive in Georgetown located on Grand Cayman Island. Grand Cayman is a Traveler’s choice 2011 winner and home to over 250 dive sites, including wrecks, walls, and coral reefs. It has the most diverse crowd of people and draws the most visitors. While in Georgetown make sure you visit the waterfront shopping area, famous for deals beyond belief. And be sure to treat yourself at Totuga Duty-Free Liquors and Bakery with their famous rum cake. Seven Mile Beach is close by as well. Boatswains Beach is famous for their Turtle Farm which houses turtles as large as 600 lbs. Even though it’s a tourist trap everyone needs to make the journey through Hell if for no other reason that to purchase a postcard "from Hell". Once you make it through you will reach Stingray City and Pedro’s Castle dating back to the days of Pirates and slaves in Boddentown. Next up is Rum Point and famous Rum Point Beach. While exploring the island be sure to stop by eateries such as: Calypso Grill, Ristorante, Pappagallo, Castro’s Hideaway, Kaibo Yacht Club, The Wreck Bar, Bayside Café for those with a palate for Indian food, Bacchus, The Wharf and Edoardo’s. A lively nightlife can also be found on the island at Royal Palms Beach Club, Sharkey’s, Legendz, Coconuts Comedy Club and the Caribbean Dinner Party.
