The Grenadines are comprised of St. Vincent, the largest island, as well as 9 other islands. Island hopping is easy to do and done so often that you could literally have dinner on one island and drinks on another. The island of Mustique is home to musician Mick Jagger and it’s not uncommon to be rubbing elbows with other celebrities as well. Start out the day exploring some of the many nature trails such as St Vincent’s Vermont Nature Trail, Mayreau’s Saltwhistle Bay to Saline Bay, Union Island Mountains & Bays, Canovan’s Windward Coast and of course the hike up La Soufriere the Islands volcano.
Divers can explore Indigo Dive, Dive Bequia and Pigeon Island. For lazy days sunning and swimming, the beaches of Richmond Beach, Tobago Cays, Palm Island, Lower Bay Beach, Princess Margaret Beach and Salt Whistle Bay are a must. The Grenadines even have Owia Salt Pond for a lazy afternoon. Restaurant selections include The Fig Tree, Fernando’s Hideaway, Coco’s Place, Devil’s Table, Firefly Plantation Restaurant Bequia, De Reef Bar and Restaurant, The Salty Dog at Timberhouse and of course…The Sky’s the Limit. Nightclubs include Excape, Basil’s Bar, Aquatic Club, Buccama Club, Frangipani, and Dennis’ Hideaway. Whatever you decide to do, the dress code is casual and the people inviting.
